(BFR) Introduction to Body Fat Percentage:

1. Body fat percentage refers to the proportion of body fat weight relative to total body weight; it is also known as body fat percentage and reflects the amount of fat in the body.

2. A certain amount of fat serves important functions in the body. Fat helps maintain body temperature, acts as a cushion and insulation for organs and tissues, and serves as the body’s primary form of energy storage.

3. There are various methods for calculating body fat percentage. This tool uses the BMI calculation based on height and weight; the results are for reference only.

4. BMI: Weight (kg) ÷ (Height × Height) (m).

5. Body Fat Percentage: 1.2 × BMI + 0.23 × Age – 5.4 – 10.8 × Gender (1 for male, 0 for female)
