About Calculating a Dog's Age:

1. The average lifespan of a dog is 18–20 years. While humans are in their teens at age 18, dogs are already considered elderly by that age. Cats, on the other hand, go through puberty between the ages of 1 and 2.

2. A 10-year-old dog is generally considered to have entered old age. From this point onward, owners need to provide extra care and attention to help their dog live a long life

3. The average lifespan of a domestic dog is around 13–18 years. Due to food scarcity and environmental factors, stray dogs have an average lifespan of only about three years

4. Dogs enter adolescence between 1 and 2 years of age, after which they gradually enter their prime. Dogs over 10 years old enter old age and require even more attentive care
