About Calculating a Dog's Age:

1. The average lifespan of a dog is 18–20 years. While humans are in their prime at age 18, dogs are already considered elderly by that age. Cats, on the other hand, reach their prime between 1 and 2 years of age.

2. A 10-year-old dog is generally considered to have entered old age. From this point onward, owners need to provide extra care and attention to help the dog live a long life.

3. The average lifespan of a domestic dog is around 13–18 years. Due to food scarcity and environmental factors, stray dogs have an average lifespan of only about three years.

4. Dogs enter adolescence between 1 and 2 years of age, after which they gradually enter their prime. Dogs over 10 years old are considered senior and require even more attentive care.
