2. Different combinations of systolic and diastolic pressures result in different classifications of blood pressure.

(2) Normal blood pressure: Systolic pressure less than 120 mmHg and diastolic pressure less than 80 mmHg.

(4) Stage 1 hypertension: Systolic pressure between 130 and 139 mmHg or diastolic pressure between 80 and 89 mmHg.

(5) Stage 2 hypertension: Systolic blood pressure of at least 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure of at least 90 mmHg.

(6) Hypertensive crisis: Systolic blood pressure exceeding 180 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure exceeding 120 mmHg, requiring immediate medical intervention.
