Introduction to *The Rules for Students*:

1. *The Rules for Students* is a children’s primer written by Li Yuxiu, a scholar during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty. Originally titled *Instructions for Children*, it was later revised by Jia Cunren and renamed *The Rules for Students*.

2. Guided by Confucian philosophy, *The Rules for Disciples* employs a three-character-per-line structure with rhyming couplets. The text consists of 360 lines and 1,080 characters. Its content is simple, easy to understand, and melodious, making it easy for children to recite and memorize.

3. The core philosophy of *The Rules for Students* advocates achieving family harmony and social harmony through self-cultivation and caring for others.

4. *The Rules for Students* emphasizes traditional virtues such as filial piety, fraternal duty, integrity, and benevolence, teaching people how to respect elders, show brotherly love, be cautious in speech and conduct, be honest and trustworthy, and treat others with a benevolent heart.
