Introduction to *The Analects*:

This era was marked by social upheaval, rivalry among feudal lords, and intellectual vitality, giving rise to the "Hundred Schools of Thought" movement.

2. Confucius (551–479 BCE), as the founder of the Confucian school, dedicated himself to spreading his educational philosophy and ethical concepts, advocating for the governance of the state and the stabilization of society through moral cultivation and social responsibility. After his death, his disciples and their successors recorded his words, deeds, and dialogues with his disciples, compiling them into a book—this is the *Analects*.

3. The Analects consists of 20 chapters, primarily in the form of aphorisms supplemented by narrative passages. Its content spans multiple fields, including politics, ethics, education, philosophy, and personal conduct.
