About Calculating a Cat's Age:

1. The average lifespan of a cat is 18–20 years. While humans are in their prime at age 18, cats are already considered elderly by that age. A cat’s adolescence, however, occurs between the ages of 1 and 2.

2. A 10-year-old cat is generally considered to have entered old age. From this point onward, owners must provide extra care and attention to help the cat live a long life.

3. The average lifespan of a domestic cat is around 13–18 years. Due to food scarcity and environmental factors, the average lifespan of a stray cat is only about three years.

4. Cats enter puberty between 1 and 2 years of age, after which they gradually enter their prime. Cats over 10 years old enter their senior years and require even more attentive care.
