1. 24 is a math game in which you use addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and parentheses to combine four integers so that the final result is 24.

2. The four numbers must be greater than 0 and less than 13. The order of the numbers does not matter; you can use parentheses and perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to arrive at a result of 24.

3. When playing with a deck of playing cards, select any four cards from a standard deck (excluding the Jokers). Use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (including parentheses) to calculate the sum of the card values to 24, using each card only once.

4. Example: With the numbers 3, 8, 8, and 9, the following formulas can be used: (9–8) × 8 × 3; 3 × 8 ÷ (9–8); (9–8 ÷ 8) × 3;
