12/24-hour conversion

1. 12-hour system: A day is divided into two 12-hour periods: from midnight to noon (AM) and from noon to midnight (PM).

(1) AM: Before noon

(2) PM: After noon

2. 24-Hour Format: Refers to the period from midnight to the following midnight. The 24-hour period spans from 00:00 to 23:59. Time is expressed in hours and minutes starting from midnight.
