Introduction to Whois Lookups:

1. This tool allows you to check whether a domain name has been registered or deleted, as well as view detailed registration information.

2. Explanation of the implementation of domain expiration and deletion rules.

International Domains:

(1) DNS resolution is suspended on the expiration date. If the domain is not renewed within 72 hours, the DNS records will be redirected to an advertising page (parked domain). The domain enters a 30–45-day grace period after expiration (the exact duration varies by registrar).

(2) After the retention period, the domain enters the redemption period (REDEMPTIONPERIOD, lasting 30 days).

(3) After the redemption period, the domain enters a deletion period lasting approximately 5 days. Once the deletion period ends, the domain becomes available for registration by anyone.

Domestic Domains:

(1) DNS resolution is suspended on the expiration date. If not renewed within 72 hours, the domain’s DNS settings will be redirected to an advertising page (parked). Automatic renewal is available within 35 days.

(2) 36–48 days after expiration, the domain enters a 13-day premium redemption period during which it cannot be managed.

(3) If the domain is still not renewed 48 days after expiration, it may be deleted at any time.
