About the Lung Age Calculator:

1. Lung age refers to the "age" of the lungs. Through pulmonary function testing, it provides a clear indication of lung aging and overall lung health.

2. Generally speaking, the "age" of the lungs should correspond to a person’s actual age, and their performance and lifespan should also align with that of the body.

3. Male Lung Age = (0.0414 × Height – 2.190 – FEV1) / 0.0244

4. Female Lung Age = (0.0342 × Height – 1.578 – FEV1) / 0.0255

5. Forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) (L): Men: 3.18 ± 0.12 L; Women: 2.31 ± 0.05 L
